Associate of Science in Education - Secondary Social Studies History (2 + 2 UCA Program)
The Associate of Science in Education (ASE) degree will be awarded to students after successfully completing a planned program of college courses. The college credits earned will be transferable toward a baccalaureate degree in teacher education. ASUMH has agreements with Arkansas State University and the University of Central Arkansas to offer seamless options for transfer to junior/senior-level courses required to ultimately obtain a bachelor's degree in teaching. A 2.70 GPA is required for graduation from the ASE program.
