ELEC 1081 - Residential Wiring Lab II ELEC 1081 - Residential Wiring Lab II 6 credits lecture/4 credits lab This hands-on lab course is designed to give students the practical application and installation experience needed to install electrical materials, apparatus, and circuits necessary and required in residential construction. All installations are based on the current edition of the National Electric Code (NEC) and local accepted wiring standards or practices. Proper usage of equipment, hand and power tools, and safety practices will be covered. This course is a component of the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Electrical ACT Two-year Technical Program Experience Credit Rules. Course Prerequisite(s): ELEC 1021 and ELEC 1031
