COMM 1000 - Racial Diversity and Oppression COMM 1000 - Racial Diversity and Oppression 2 Credits Lecture/0 Credits Lab What is racial justice? This course introduces the core concepts of racial justice by examining communication, race, and systems of oppression. Systems examined may include, but are not limited to education, healthcare, and housing. From a justice and interpersonal perspective, students will explore how diverse perceptions of race have led to oppression of various identified groups and how individuals and groups in society can strive to be anti-racist.
