Topics will include capitalism and imperialism, social turmoil in the West, Russian Revolution, World War I, totalitarianism, world depression, World War II, the Cold War and neo-imperialism, decolonization and globalization, as they have affected life in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, South America and Africa.
