BUS 2233 - Intermediate Accounting BUS 2233 - Intermediate Accounting Catalog Description This course adds depth to financial accounting topics by applying generally accepted accounting principles and the conceptual framework to measure, recognize, and report complex financial information using a variety of alternative methods. Topics include generally accepted accounting principles, the conceptual framework for accounting, income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, time value of money, and accounting for: cash and receivables, inventories, property/plant/equipment acquisition, depreciation, and impairment, intangible assets, current and long-term liabilities, and stockholders’ equity. Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better): BUS 1112 and BUS 2125
