introduces the basics of job process planning, sawing, and manual operations including benchwork and layout. Topics include deciphering blueprints and/or schematics, dimensions, design and using various instruments required in the layout of various components. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of job plans, dimensions, design, transfer and layout common to the machining industry.
