A 45 34 0 Emergency Medical Science - Associate in Applied Science The EMS Bridge Program is for qualified applicants who are currently certified Paramedics in NC or nationally registered, but do not have a degree. *Upon meeting all requirements and admission to the EMS Bridge Program, the student will receive 43 hours of proficiency credit toward the EMS A.A.S. degree to represent the EMS major hours for EMT – Paramedic coursework that are not required as part of the EMS Bridge Program. CONCENTRATION OVERVIEW The Emergency Medical Science curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge, skills and attributes to provide advanced emergency medical care as a paramedic for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system and prepares graduates to enter the workforce.
