AVI 250 — Powerplant Maintenance II: This course
covers engine systems and components. Emphasis is placed on engine instrument systems, engine fire protection systems, engine electrical systems, engine lubrication systems, ignition and starting systems, and engine fuel and fuel metering systems. Upon completion, students should be prepared to pass the applicable portions of the knowledge, oral, and practical tests of the airframe rating for the FAA mechanic’s powerplant certificate.
