PSY 2771 - Psychology of Personality: GT-SS3 PSY 2771 - Psychology of Personality: GT-SS3 Examines the structure, function, and development of personality. Investigates the major contemporary theories of personality. Covers psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive-social learning, humanistic, trait, and, optionally, neurobiological, existential, and/or Eastern, perspectives. The underlying assumptions and research support for these theories are appraised. Enables the student to gain an appreciation of the value of alternative theoretical approaches to this subfield of psychology. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-SS3 category. Course is not repeatable for credit.
