HIS 2300 - The Middle Ages: GT-HI1 HIS 2300 - The Middle Ages: GT-HI1 Examines political, social, cultural, economic and intellectual developments in Europe, Byzantium and the Islamic world from the collapse of Rome through the Renaissance, approximately A.D. 400-1400. This course focuses on developing, practicing, and strengthening skills historians use while constructing knowledge and studying a diverse set of narratives through perspectives such as gender, class, religion, and ethnicity. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-HI1 category. Course is not repeatable for credit.
