CHE 1111 - General College Chemistry I with Lab: GT-SC1 CHE 1111 - General College Chemistry I with Lab: GT-SC1 Focuses on basic chemistry and measurement, matter, chemical formulas, reactions and equations, stoichiometry. This course covers the development of atomic theory culminating in the use of quantum numbers to determine electron configurations of atoms, and the relationship of electron configuration to chemical bond theory. The course includes gases, liquids, and solids and problem-solving skills are emphasized through laboratory experiments. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-SC1 category. It is recommended that ENG 1021 be completed prior to or taken concurrently with this course. Students who have met the math Course is not repeatable for credit. Prerequisite(s): CHE 1011, and MAT 1340, MAT 1400, MAT 1420, MAT 1440, MT 2410, MAT 2420, MAT 2430, MAT 2520, MAT 2540, or MAT 2560 with grades of “C” or better
