CHE 1005 - Chemistry in Context with Lab: GT-SC1 CHE 1005 - Chemistry in Context with Lab: GT-SC1 Covers the study of measurements, matter, molecules, atoms, chemical bonding, nomenclature, energy, acids, bases, and nutrition. Course work examines chemistry in the modern world and surveys the current knowledge as well as the conceptual framework of the discipline. Chemistry as a science is explored, as is the impact of chemistry on society. This course includes laboratory experience and is designed for non-science majors. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-SC1 category. It is recommended that ENG 1021 and MAT 1340 be completed prior to or be taken concurrently with this course. Course is not repeatable for credit.
