ART 2603 - Jewelry and Metalwork III ART 2603 - Jewelry and Metalwork III Continues intermediate metalsmithing techniques and design used for jewelry and small-scale sculptural objects. This course covers intermediate fabrication and forming techniques, such as chasing and repousse, chain making, and mechanisms. This course includes generating and constructing functional jewelry and sculpture, and emphasizes ideation practices including individual research, compositional development, and critical analysis. Course is not repeatable for credit. Prerequisite(s): ART 1605 with a grade of “C” or better
